Steps to receiving an online Darshan

License Required

Once you click the play button, depending on how your security settings in Windows Media Player are set, you may be presented with the above pop-up window.  Windows Media Player may generate the pop-up window to inform you that a license is required to play the online darshan.  You can be assured that you are being directed to a trustworthy source by noticing that the address you are being directed to is http://www.foundationformeditativetudies.org/homestudy/drm/login_v7.asp which is part of the Foundation for Meditative Studies website.  Click on Yes to continue.

Login/Authentication

Next you will be presented with this login page.  Enter your registered username and password.  Click Submit to proceed.

Issue License

Once you have entered a valid username and password the above window will be displayed, indicating that your username and password have been authenticated and that you are being sent a license to play the darshan.

Receiving a license takes only a few seconds if you have a fast connection and a little more if you have a dial-up connection.  Even though the window indicates the license has been issued, you can tell that the license is still being sent because the Play button is inactive.

License Received

Once the license is completely received, the Play button will become active.  When you see this happen, go ahead and click on the Play button.  The window will close and the darshan will begin streaming to Windows Media Player, first filling its buffer and when the buffer is full, you should then hear or hear and see the darshan.
